The CA Dept. of Insurance announced a mandatory one-year moratorium on non-renewals and cancellations for homeowners impacted by the Southern California wildfires.
Residents, see if your ZIP Code is included and call 800-927-4357 to schedule a one-on-one appointment with a Dept. of Insurance expert.

Know Your (Evacuation) Zone: To save time during an emergency, it is important for residents to know your evacuation zone in advance. Enter your address to get your zone name. Post it in a easily accessible area in case of an emergency.
Know Your Hazards: Enter your address into the MyHazards tool to discover hazards in the area (earthquake, flood, fire, and tsunami) and learn steps to reduce personal risk.
Alert & Notification Systems: Learn how to register and/or enable your smart device(s) to receive alerts if there is an emergency and any actions you need to take in your designated area. Includes Reverse 911 and Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA).

Community Wildfire Risk Reduction: A means of defending Atascadero from wildfire with public education, inspections, code enforcement, and managing grant-funded programs like chipping and wildfire consultations.
City of Paso Robles —
Paso Robles Fire and Emergency Services Page - A variety of resources on wildfire and disaster preparedness, community risk reduction, current incident tracking and more.
Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) - This program educates volunteers about disaster preparedness for the hazards that may impact their area and trains them in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations.
